Researchers and stakeholders from the dNmark Research Alliance have a central role in two new EU Horizon 2020 projects on drinking water protection, and the related development and promotion of sustainable agricultural nitrogen management practices. Both the dNmark study areas around Aalborg and Skive are involved.
FAIRWAY and WaterProtect are the names of the sister projects that will develop new methods and approaches for the protection of groundwater, which are optimal for the agriculture while the public access to clean drinking water are secured.
dNmark partners in the projects are SEGES, GEUS, Aarhus University, University of Copenhagen, Skive Municipality and Landbo Limfjord.
